Mrs. Angeliki Georgiou Pitsoli was born in 1978 and grew up in Kokkinia, a suburb of Piraeus, Greece, where she still resides today. Her origins are from Chios Island and Asia Minor.
She worked hard from her school years in various jobs, such as a saleswoman in the family furniture business, a bookshop assistant, a dressmaker's assistant, and an employee in the accounting department of a commercial company. From 1998 to 2024 she worked in the private insurance sector and at the same time from 2015 to the present, she has been working in the communication and advertising field, in Greece and Cyprus.
Nowdays she is a journalist, advertiser, entrepreneur, researcher and author and already counts 25 years of professional experience and communication with the public.
She studied Journalism and New Media (MSc) and graduated with honors from the Department of Communication and Mass Media of the School of Economics, Political Sciences, of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
At the same time, she studied Private Insurance (MBA/Diploma) at School of Economics and Management, of the National Organization for Vocational Education, the Hellenic Institute of Insurance Studies, the University of Piraeus and the Bank of Greece. In addition she studied Philology & Greek Culture (BA) at the Open University of Cyprus, where he acquired the right to be appointed and taught in public education of the Republic of Cyprus.
She has a particular interest in women's/human rights, violence against women & children, gender & social equality, history and culture. She maintains the column WomanPower and frequently writes original opinion pieces.
